Target group
Young people aged 16-25 in housing need, especially those aged 16-21 and young women who are pregnant or have children.
Will not accept
No automatic exclusions. Applicants are assessed in terms of risk and their suitability for the support offered by the project.

Referral agencies
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency.
Referral procedure
Self or agency referrals. Phone, call in (9am-6pm Mon-Fri) or write. Referring agencies must complete form and are contacted within 3 days. May require Probation and other reports where applicable.

Staffing and support ^ back to top
Support services
1 full time member of staff and 3 volunteers based at office 9am-6pm Mon-Fri, emergency on-call system. Daily visits to projects. Staff provide advice and assistance with welfare rights, health, drugs issues, police and the law.
Access to move-on
Staff provide advice and assistance with resettlement and finding move-on accommodation. Provide follow-up support for up to 3 months.

16/21 Housing provides supported accommodation for 15 young people aged 16-25 (especially those aged 16-21), including young women who are pregnant or have children. The project has a minibus and arranges group outings and social events for residents. Two longer trips are made each year, one abroad and one in the UK. The project also runs its own football team.
