Referral agencies
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency.
Referral procedure
Self or agency referrals. Phone (Mon-Thurs 9am-5pm, Fri 9am-1.30pm). Assessment on phone or at interview. Existing residents have a say in applications.

Support services
2 full time and 2 part time staff on-site Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, emergency on-call system. Keywork system, daily keywork and groupwork sessions. Drop-in Mon 2pm-6pm, Tues 2pm-5pm and Thurs 1pm-5pm. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed quarterly or as necessary.
Health services
Alcohol specialist on staff team.
Access to move-on
Staff give advice on move-on options and help with grant applications. Follow-up support via day care programme.

9 Oxford Road Colchester provides accommodation and support for 3 people with substance misuse problems who are attending the project's day care programme. The project accepts self referrals and agency referrals. Accommodation is in single rooms with shared facilities. Support is provided via a day care programme, which includes group therapy. The project operates a drop-in Mon 2pm-6pm, Tues 2pm-5pm and Thurs 1pm-5pm. The drop-in is open to anyone attending the day programme.
